Mountain Mist Day Camp is proud to offer Sports Camps to our younger campers this summer! Campers who have completed Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade will have the opportunity to participate in an age appropriate setting with the Meriden YMCA’s Coach Kevin Scarpati, who oversees our Youth Sports Program during the school year. Campers will learn the basics of the game, sportsmanship, and fair play in a non-competitive environment during the morning and will participate in traditional camp activities in the afternoon. |

This camp is specifically designed for girls who have a passion for the sport of Cheerleading. This camp is offered during Sessions 2 and 4 and will be instructed by collegiate cheerleader Erica Nickerson of Manhattanville College. Campers will learn a complete cheer routine in a non-competitive environment during the morning and will participate in traditional camp activities in the afternoon. The session will culminate in a performance of the routine for the entire camp. |

Campers will be bussed from camp in the morning to our main YMCA building and will return to camp at lunch time to participate in traditional camp activities in the afternoon. The YMCA features full gymnastics equipment including uneven bars, balance beams, vault, and floor exercise mats. |
